B V Subrahmanyam a disciple of Sri Somanatha Maharishi was born to a pious couple of Late Bhogaraju Radha Krishna and Bhogaraju Visalakshmi.The birth itself was marked by a unique event when a big serpent fell on the womb when his mother was carrying Him and was in advance stage of Pregnency.This was a sign of the spiritual nature of Life He would lead in future.It was during this time that his mother got a vision of a hindu god Subrahmanaya Swamy( Son of Shiva ) and hence named Him after Him.The sacrificial, truthfull,never say give up qualities of his grandfather Late Dr.Pattabhi Seetharamayya( Freedom Fighter ) and the spirtual nature of both Parents surely prompted him and blessed him to become a spiritual guru for the truth seekers.He was blessed and privilagedthat as a brother inlaw of world famous veena artiste Late Dr.Chitti Babu, He had the opportunity of accompanying him on many tours within India and learnt a lot of Hindu Mythology and Music from him and meet distiguished musicians from India.
.Subrahmanyam was a aggressive businessman( which never gave him enough satisfaction ) doing contracts and later into Computer education.But due to major heart attacks ( near death experience ) in the year 1999 in the month of Feb on doctors advise decided to do meditation. He came into contact with Sri Somanatha Maharishi and found this powerful meditation and got a lot of benefit from doing it in terms of handling stress, Anger, Depresssion and developed immense liking to this meditation and took recourse to this meditation to find out the truth and the real purpose of human birth ( liberation ) due to exeperiences he had during the Sadhana.

Subrahmanyam learnt Mano Yoga Sadhana and the secrets of Meditation from Sri Sri Somanatha Maharishi( www.srism.org ) who had done immense Penance and who is a truely Elvated and ascended soul. He had the opportuniy of becoming his pet disciple and become one of the close and trust worthy disciples and now in charge of co-ordinating the establisment of International Branches of Sri Somanatha Ashrams.
Was a Convenor for a programme to train 5 Lakhs Students in Mano Yoga and got permisions from Ministry of Human Resources ( Govt of India ) to implement this Mano Yoga in Schools and sucessfully conducted classes in various schools of Andhra Pradesh. ( Clik here )

Was involved in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Project for Patients in NIMS Hospital here at Hyderabad ( India ) .

Conducted Mano Yoga classes in NIMS Hospital in Hyderabad, India and in Various Districts of Andhra Pradesh and accompanied Sri Somanatha Maharishi in many tours within India .
